At 211 degrees water is hot, at 212 degrees water begins to boil and changes from water to steam. That one extra degree makes all of the difference. Dan Bennett founded Bennett Insurance and Employee Benefits in 1986 with that idea in mind. Go the extra step, every time, for every client.

Dan Bennett has served as an advisory board member, a by invitation only position for industry leaders, for all of the major health insurance carriers. His active leadership in the industry allows him to make his clients’ concerns and challenges heard by the insurance carriers in a direct and meaningful way. 

The results of his efforts speak for themselves. Many clients have been with Dan  for ten, twenty and even thirty years. They stay not out of blind loyalty but because of the detail-oriented hard work and creative problem solving solutions he provides year in and year out.

Through mentorship and leading by example, Dan has created the Bennett Insurance team. The team has adopted the 212 degree mantra of going the extra step for every client. Zach specializes in group employee benefits with a particular interest in technological  integration. He  joined the team in 2009, at first working behind the scenes throughout high school and college before becoming a licensed agent in 2014. Since the beginning, he has been immersed in plan details and in the decision making process. Each plan design is different, as is each client. This accumulated granular level knowledge provides him a distinct advantage allowing him to better predict trends and how to best align client objectives with long term solutions. He enjoys meeting new people and would welcome the opportunity to make a difference.

When not at the office or meeting with clients, you can find Zach at the beach or on a boat, enjoying all the best that Florida has to offer.

Andrew Sheldon joined the Bennett Insurance team in 2017. He brings with him a unique set of skills honed by many years of working in the finance / data analytics departments of several Fortune 500 companies. His background in financial analysis coupled with a genuine desire to help and an attitude of leaving no stone unturned has made Andrew a “go to” agent. In short order, he has earned the reputation as a trustworthy agent that individuals and businesses can rely on.
